Cornell University

We intend to build capacity for PIT-focused research and teaching within and across Cornell campuses by providing visibility and mutual support across the many existing Cornell faculty, students, and practitioners who are currently conducting PI- related work. Longer-term goals include developing robust PIT training and career path awareness for Cornell students (both undergrad and graduate level), incubating and supporting novel interdisciplinary PIT research across Cornell departments and campuses, and establishing collaborations with other PIT-UN schools to share best practices and models for further building PIT depth in educational programming, career pipeline & placement, as well as faculty development and institution building.
