The Pardee RAND Graduate school already embodies many of the aspirational goals of PIT-UN. We have myriad experiential learning opportunities, undertake profoundly transdisciplinary work, and seek to have impact at the intersection of technology and society and beyond. In addition, the launch of the Technology Applications and Implications stream within the Ph.D. program speaks directly to issues that are important to PIT-UN, and the school’s Tech + Narrative Lab continues to explore prototyping and experimentation at the intersection of emerging technology and policy. Technology rules, but policy matters – and the broad landscape of Public Interest Technology will continue to be a focus of work at Pardee RAND as we move deeper into the digital epoch.
